The amazing Discovery Center Museum is full of over 250 exciting hands-on exhibits spread over a two-floor area. Out in the museum's backyard, visitors can explore Rock River Discovery Park, a giant, multi-level science park with a hands-on twist! The museum also hosts traveling exhibits, special events and programs throughout the year. The Discovery Center Museum is one of the top attractions in Northern Illinois.

As you can see from the list above, there is a TON of fun stuff to learn and do!
The Discovery Center Museum is for all ages and they even have a Tot Spot which is designed specifically for children under the age of six and their parents. Little one's can explore this area and discover and experiment!
You can also find a Baby Spot which is located within the Tot Spot and is specifically designed for babies 18 months and younger. They also offer a quiet room made especially for nursing mothers and children.
The Discovery Center Museum also offers a ton of special events, programs, classes and even more! All special events are included with admission to Discovery Center Museum unless otherwise noted. To find a list of their special events click here!
Admission is $8 for each person age two or older. Admission is FREE for Discovery Center Members and children age 1 and younger.
The Discovery Center Museum's hour of operation are: Monday-Sunday/10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The only days they are closed on are the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, & Easter Sunday.
