What would Christmas be like without reading a Christmas classic? Whether you read them throughout the month of December or the night of Christmas Eve, it's a lovely tradition many families enjoy.
My son and I read The Night Before Christmas by Rose Collins. While this illustrated Christmas book follows the traditional version of Clement Clarke Moore’s holiday poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas", this particular book has a fun bit of a twist—it follows a family of bears instead!
This book has a total of 29 pages and consists of one to two sentences per page, so this makes a great book for beginner readers.
One of the first things you will notice is the bright, beautiful, colors and illustrations throughout this book. You can tell that thought and care was put into every little detail in this book, to bring you the best of good holiday cheer!
I really like how the family of bears grabbed my three-year-old's attention right from the start. My son absolutely adores this book. He loved it so much after reading it the first time, now he requests this Christmas classic every night before bed! This book is a perfect fit because I love just as much!
